I’m an AD, which means I do many things: lead creative, shape brands, mentor teams—and, apparently, create so many icons that people started calling me the Icon Queen. Need an icon? I’ve already made three. One minimal, one expressive, and one “just in case the client suddenly wants it to feel more human.” I don’t collect shoes or bags. I collect SVGs.

What really confuses people is my biology degree. Yes, biology. As in cells. As in “why is someone who once memorized the Krebs cycle now debating stroke weights?” I like to think of it as a competitive advantage. While others see a layout, I see a living organism. The brand has a nervous system. The campaign has a heartbeat. And bad design? Clearly a parasitic infection. Biology and art actually are deeply connected in Pharma advertising. Biology provides truth, Art provides translation. The strongest work happens when scientific understanding and creative intuition reinforce each other — turning complex science in to work that is clear, credible and human. A biology-trained creative knows when a metaphor oversimplifies or misleads; respects scale, process, and cause-and-effect; designs visuals that feel intuitively correct to HCPs and patient — build trust.

I’m naturally drawn to the best technology and often the first on the team to adopt new tools. I stay closely plugged into AI developments and haven’t missed a single weekly company AI meetup. I understand how strong workflows lead to successful work—and I share that knowledge openly. I’ve coached other ADs on AI workflows, Adobe XD, and Figma, so they don’t have to panic-click their way through tutorials at 1 a.m. Instead, I give them shortcuts, structure, and the quiet confidence to say, “Yes, I can do that.” Think of it as a creative jump-start—with fewer bruises.

Creatively, my brain never shuts off. Ideas show up uninvited. I provide direction, shape brands, connect dots that weren’t supposed to be connected, and somehow make it all feel intentional. I lead with clarity, curiosity, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
